I’m a practicing Orthopedic Surgeon who joined Kaiser Bellflower (now Downey) in Southern California in 1987. I have a strong interest in both Osteoporosis Disease Management and Medical Informatics. I helped to start the Kaiser SCAL Healthy Bones program in 1998 and develop similar program at Kaisers in NCAL, Portland, Hawaii, Virginia, Ohio, and Colorado. I have lectured multiple times about our Healthy Bones Program as well as published the results of our Healthy Bones Osteoporosis Disease Management Program. I’m also the Kaiser National Orthopedic Lead for HealthConnect and serve on the Advisory Group for Clinical Services in Kaiser Southern California.
